Export

Ahoy there, matey! When ye export songs an' sets from OnSong, th' filenames required fer th' specified file formats be automatically generated. These settin's determine how that file name be generated, savvy?

Filename Template

This field allows ye t' customize th' filename usin' variables. By default, this be set t' prefix th' filename with th' sortable prefix called sort an' then title separated by a dash. Ye can customize this with th' followin' variables, ye scallywag:

  • title be th' song title.
  • capo th' current capo applied t' th' song.
  • key th' key that th' song be currently displayed in which may be either th' original or transposed key.
  • originalKey be th' key in which th' song be written.
  • transposedKey be th' key in which th' song be transposed.
  • author be th' author o' th' content.
  • ccli will contain th' CCLI number o' th' song.
  • composer be th' musician who composed th' work.
  • copyright includes copyright information.
  • duration be th' duration o' th' song in seconds.
  • lyricist be th' person who wrote th' lyrics.
  • number be th' song number set t' th' song.
  • timeSignature be th' time signature o' th' song.
  • tempo be th' BPM o' th' song.
  • sort can be used t' append th' sortable prefix t' th' filename.

Include Sortable Prefix

Blimey! When exportin' a set o' songs, OnSong will append a sortable prefix t' th' filename t' maintain th' sort order o' th' songs. This be a numeric value padded with zeros. If songs be not exported as a set, or if this be turned off, OnSong will remove th' sort variable specified at th' front o' th' filename template, Arrr!
