Multipage
Multipage be allowin' ye t' print more than one page per physical sheet o' paper, matey. Not only does this conserve paper and make printin' faster, but it can also reduce clutter in circumstances where additional paper would be unusable. Arrr!
Th' multipage menu allows ye t' configure th' properties o' th' page that be outputted. Values set in th' Page Layout Menu be used fer drawin' each page on th' multipage sheet. Options be arranged into th' followin' sections:
Multipage
T' turn on multipage, ye will need t' select how many pages t' draw on a single, physical sheet. OnSong uses printin' press jargon o' "n-up" t' indicate how many pages be placed on a sheet.
Th' orientation o' th' physical sheet be determined by th' quantity o' pages and th' page orientation set in th' Page Layout Menu. Fer instance, if ye select 2-Up and th' portrait orientation be used, then OnSong will output both pages on a single, landscape sheet. If th' pages be defined as bein' in th' landscape orientation, then two pages be printed on a single physical page in th' portrait orientation.
Options include:
- Off be equivalent t' 1-up in that th' page be printed directly t' th' printer. Default.
- 2-Up places two pages adjacent t' each other on a single page.
- 4-Up places four pages in a grid on a single page.
- 8-Up places eight pages in a grid on a single page.
- 16-Up places sixteen pages in a grid on a single page.
Paper Size
This be th' size o' th' physical paper t' print other pages upon and can be different than th' paper size set in th' Page Layout. Th' paper size found in Page Layout be used by default. Options include:
- Letter (8.5" x 11")
- Legal (8.5" x 14")
- Tabloid (11" x 17")
- A5 (148mm x 210mm)
- A4 (210mm x 297mm)
- A3 (297mm x 420mm)
Margins
Margins can be set individually fer th' top, left, bottom, and right margins. Margins be set t' those found in Page Layout by default. Options include:
- 0"
- 1/8"
- 1/4"
- 3/8"
- 1/2"
- 5/8"
- 3/4"
- 7/8"
- 1"
- 1-1/8"
- 1-1/4"
- 1-3/8"
- 1-1/2"
Gutter
Th' gutter be printin' press jargon fer th' space between columns, savvy? In this screen, ye can place space between each o' th' pages drawn on th' physical sheet o' paper. Options include:
- 0" places pages adjacent t' each other. Default.
- 1/8"
- 1/4"
- 3/8"
- 1/2"
- 5/8"
- 3/4"
- 7/8"
- 1"
- 1-1/8"
- 1-1/4"
- 1-3/8"
- 1-1/2"
*Note: OnSong automatically draws an outline around each outputted page t' indicate its bounds on th' physical sheet o' paper.
