Quick Chord Bar

Th' quick chord bar appears above th' On-Screen Keyboard and provides fast access t' chords that be in yer song fer easy insertion in th' text editor, savvy?

Chords

Move th' text cursor in th' Text Editor t' where ye would like th' chord t' be placed. If ye be usin' bracketed chords, place th' text cursor in th' lyrics where ye would like th' chord t' be placed. If ye be usin' chords over lyrics, place th' cursor where ye would like th' chord placed above th' lyrics. Tap on th' chord ye would like t' insert, matey.

Chords be detected within th' content o' th' song and be displayed in th' order they appear in th' song. Each chord be displayed once. Ye can change th' order in which th' chords appear by changin' Sort Chord Buttons option in Settings » Menu Settings » Song Editor. Ye can sort more popular chords t' th' front or sort chord buttons alphabetically, arrr!

Symbols

T' th' far right be additional buttons fer insertin' symbols. This will save ye some steps movin' between keyboard modes. By default, these include th' followin':

• [] inserts square brackets at th' location o' th' text cursor and then moves th' text cursor between th' two brackets. This allows ye t' add letters between th' brackets t' create chords.
• # inserts a symbol used t' indicate sharps.
• b inserts a symbol used t' indicate flats.
• / inserts a slash fer split bass chords.

Ye can change th' additional symbols that appear here usin' th' Additional Symbols field in Settings » Menu Settings » Song Editor.

If there be too many chords or symbols in th' quick chord bar, ye can swipe t' th' left or right. Ye can also tap on th' arrow buttons that appear on th' left and right when more content exists beyond th' current view, avast!

Line Formattin'

Line formattin' can be applied t' th' line on which th' cursor be placed. Tappin' on "A" button will open th' Line Formattin' Menu which ye can set th' text and highlight color o' th' line as well as boldface and/or italics attributes, savvy?

Insert Chord

Ye can create new chords by tappin' on th' + button t' th' far right t' open th' Chord Builder. Ye can use this menu t' create new chords which be then inserted into th' song and added t' th' quick chord bar, matey!

If ye do not want th' quick chord bar t' appear, ye can disable it usin' th' Quick Chord Bar switch under Settings » Menu Settings » Song Editor.
