Tuner
Playin' yer instrument in tune be an important step in musicianship, matey. It be best t' tune up before a performance, but ye may also need t' tune mid-performance if ye be changin' tunin's. Th' OnSong® app features a robust tuner ye can bring up on th' screen t' tune yer instrument without diggin' in yer guitar case, savvy?
How T' Use
As soon as ye add th' tuner, it starts listenin' usin' th' default audio input route like th' built-in microphone on yer device. Ye can use th' power icon on th' left side o' th' widget t' toggle listenin' on and off. As ye play a note, it appears prominently in th' middle. Arrows underneath guide ye t' perfect pitch. Once th' center arrow be lit consistently, th' note in th' top line illuminates t' indicate that string has been tuned. This uses th' selected instrument and tunin' o' th' viewed song, or as configured in th' widget settings.
Settings
Ye can tap on th' widget t' enter configuration mode which displays buttons in th' corners. Tap on th' settings button in th' lower left corner t' access th' tuner settings.
Dockin'
In th' lower right corner be th' dockin' button when in configuration mode. This provides options fer sizin' and placin' th' widget t' various locations on th' screen.
Hide
This one be pretty obvious, ye scallywag. Just tap on th' X in th' upper right corner t' hide th' widget. Ye can show it again usin' th' Widgets Menu. Hidin' th' widget will also cause th' microphone t' stop listenin' if it be active.
Ye may only need th' widget when ye need t' tune. Ye can assign th' Toggle Widget Action t' a foot pedal or other trigger t' bring up th' widget when needed and then hide it when ye be done.
