Dual Chords

Th' dual chords tab be lettin' ye enable and configure secondary chords that appear next t' th' primary chords on th' screen, matey. This can be useful if ye be sharin' a chart with someone usin' a capo, or if ye be learnin' a numberin' system, savvy?

Position

Here ye can enable dual chords by choosin' t' place it before or after th' primary chord.

  • Off th' secondary chord be not enabled. Default.
  • First th' secondary chord appears before th' primary chord.
  • Last th' secondary chord appears after th' primary chord.

Font Style

This be lettin' ye change th' style o' th' secondary chord t' be different from th' primary chord, which be th' default settin'. Here ye can choose a font color and/or if th' font be bold or italics. When nothin' be checked, th' primary chord style be used.

Highlight Color

This be lettin' ye change th' highlight color o' th' secondary chord t' be different from th' primary chord. By default, nothin' be checked which results in it acquirin' it from th' primary chord. Ye can tap on a swatch that be already checked t' uncheck it and then return t' th' default, Arrr!

Type

This be lettin' ye choose what type o' chord appears as th' secondary. Options include:

  • Capo shows th' capoed version o' th' primary chord which modulates it from th' transposed chord usin' th' capo settin' if enabled. Default.
  • Original shows th' chord that was originally written for th' song in th' original attachment.
  • Transposed shows th' transposed chord by takin' th' original and transposin' it accordin' t' th' transposed key settin'.
  • Numeric shows th' chord usin' th' Nashville numberin' system, outputtin' th' chord interval within th' key as an arabic numeral (1-6).
  • Roman shows th' chord usin' Roman numerals as th' chord interval within th' key.
  • Solfege shows th' chord usin' do-re-mi nomenclature relative t' th' chord interval within th' key.

Decoration

This can be used t' enclose th' chord in text fer better visibility, me hearty. Options include:

  • None when nothin' be selected. Default.
  • [ ] wraps th' chord in square brackets.
  • ( ) wraps th' chord in parentheses.
  • < > wraps th' chord in angle brackets.
  • { } wraps th' chord in curly braces.
